Our Mandate and What We Are Not
IBEC is an international board built around a single AI engine and three audiences. For organisations, the engine designs, documents and implements ISO management systems and prepares them for certification audit. For professionals, it delivers training against published examination blueprints, personalises preparation, runs the membership community and administers enrolment for personnel certification. For trainers and training centers, it maps programs to published competency units and channels trainees to independently awarded certification.
IBEC is not a certification body and does not award certification of any kind. Every personnel certification offered through IBEC is designed, examined, evaluated, decided and issued by an independent Certification Partner whose technical committees own the scheme and the examination banks. Every ISO management-system certificate an IBEC client obtains is audited, decided and issued by an independent certification body. The engine prepares, IBEC's lead auditors and trainers review, and independent bodies decide.
In its own name IBEC issues only community and learning credentials: Certificates of Attendance and Completion for its training, and Expert Member recognition within the IBEC community. These are clearly distinguished, on the certificate itself and in this site's copy, from partner-awarded personnel certification.

Who We Are
IBEC delivers training, community and enrolment. It does not set the certification scheme, does not write or hold the examination items, does not invigilate, does not evaluate, and does not make or issue the certification decision. All of that sits with our independent Certification Partner and its technical committees. That separation is the safeguard: the organisation that earns revenue from your training is structurally unable to decide whether you pass.

Two Credentials, Two Issuers — and Why That Matters
Understanding exactly which credential IBEC issues, which credential our Certification Partner awards, and why keeping the two apart is what gives either of them value.
IBEC issues, in its own name, Certificates of Attendance and Completion for the training it delivers, and Expert Member recognition inside its professional community. These confirm that you learned, participated and are recognised by your peers. They are not personnel certification and IBEC never presents them as such.
Personnel certification is different. It is designed, examined, invigilated, evaluated, decided and issued by our independent Certification Partner, whose technical committees own the certification scheme and the examination banks. IBEC's role is to prepare you and to enrol you. We do not influence the outcome, and we could not if we wanted to.
The organisation that trains you is not the organisation that examines or awards.

Invigilation, item security and evaluation are handled entirely by our Certification Partner.
